PRINCE Harry is reportedly “bored” in LA as he “doesn’t have anything to do”, according to a royal author.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, relocated to California in 2020 with wife Meghan after stepping down from royal duties – a role he was “trained in since childhood”, according to Tom Quinn.

Harry and Meghan now live in a £12million mansion in the A-list enclave Montecito, with Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Tom – author of the new book Yes Ma’Am, The Secret Life of Royal Servants – claims that former friends in the UK have told him that Harry, who spent many years of his life living at Kensington Palace, “is not finding life in LA all he hoped it would be.”
He shared: “He just doesn’t have anything to do: from childhood he has been trained to be a royal, attending charitable events and meeting the public and he has thrown all that away.
“Friends say he’s made a decent stab at helping around the Montecito mansion, walking the dog and looking after the children.
“But the truth is he is bored.
“He can’t leave the mansion without a security detail and the couple’s neighbours – many of whom are far more famous than the royal couple – take little notice when they spot Harry out and about.”
Harry reportedly doesn’t nip into the local hardware store or pharmacy for bits and pieces but on occasion has been spotted with his security detail when he’s riding his bike, taking a walk, or heading out for lunch.
Tom claimed that the Sussexes “hate that they aren’t seen as true A-listers” in the area, which is home to the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Aniston.
The Sun previously spoke to a local in the area who said: “We leave Harry and Meghan be.
“There are loads of famous people around here so no one bats an eyelid about two more rich people.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex splashed out on their nine-bedroom mansion after leaving the UK, and it comes with 16 bathrooms and 5.4 acres of land.
Fit for royalty, it features a library, office, spa, gym, game room, wine cellar and five-car garage, it’s believed.
The estate also boasts sweeping lawns, tiered rose gardens, tall Italian cypress trees, blooming lavender, olive trees, a tennis court, tea house, children’s cottage and a pool.
There is even a chicken coop with “Archie’s Chick Inn”, which has rescue hens.

Tom added: “For Harry, Montecito is escape from all the things he hated about his old life but it’s also the loss of the things he loved.
“The biggest sorrow for Harry living in the States is not seeing his old Eton and army pals – much of this is down to the fact that they really dislike woke tree huggers and, rightly or wrongly, that’s what they feel Harry has become.”

Tom claimed that while the Duke of Sussex is married to Meghan, 43, the chances of him returning to the UK “are nil.”
He continued: “Distance and time have not softened his view of how he and Meghan were treated, and he has begun to realise it’s much easier for an ex-royal to keep a low profile in the US than in England.
“Harry’s relationship with his brother and father has not improved at all – in many ways it has got worse as attitudes have hardened.
“Both sides still feel the other side should apologise; both sides are convinced they are in the right.”

“If you’ve followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me.
“This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.
“I will keep sharing behind the scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can’t wait for you to get your hands on everything we’ve been creating. Sending lots of love…”
Meghan explained that the name was changed from American Riviera Orchard as it “limited” her to selling items manufactured only from the area.
Meghan Markle accused of copying logo for new lifestyle brand, As Ever
ROYAL fans have accused Meghan Markle of copying a logo for her new rebrand as an expert blasted “it’s another headache
It has been claimed the Duchess of Sussex may have “copyright issues” after she announced her latest venture, As Ever.
Eagle-eyed fans have spotted similarities between her logo and the Coat of Arms of Porreres in Majorca.
Reddit users were quick to post the two designs side-by-side, showing both contain a palm tree and two birds.
Nick Ede, a brand and culture expert, told The Sun: “Yes the logo that she has used for the new brand As Ever is clearly very similar to the coat of arms for an area of Majorca.
“This is another brand set back as it looks like its been copied rather than a whole new brand identity created.
“This may potentially create copyright issues and a further headache for Meghan and her team.”
