When Jack arrived in Margrave, he and his allies had to go up against the Kliners, with KJ ending up murdering Joe Reacher. Despite that aspect, they weren’t really exactly exciting villains because they were one-dimensional — the typical shady and greedy rich family doing illegal things in a small town. Reacher season 2 seemed like it was going to redeem itself in the villain department with Shane Langston and AM, but they were also massive disappointments.

Langston and AM had so much potential to be a deadly 1-2 punch. One is the evil corporate man while the other is his executor. Unfortunately, they also turned out to be bland, not having any qualities other than boring villains, much like the Kliners. Admittedly, Reacher season 2 could have fleshed them out and made them more interesting, but that didn’t happen. In the end, both add to the growing list of bad villains in the Amazon Prime Video franchise. Luckily, it appears like season 3 has a chance to make up for with Beck.

Beck Can Redeem Reacher’s Lackluster Villain Roster
