Sam Asghari is reportedly upset for Britney Spears after learning about her run-in with first responders early Thursday morning in Los Angeles.

A source close to the fitness guru told Us Weekly that Asghari “feels terrible” that his ex-wife “is not surrounded by positive people” in her life right now.

“Sam will always have a soft spot for Britney and will always be protective over her,” the source said, adding that the incident that went down at the Chateau Marmont is “heartbreaking” for Asghari to witness as a now-outsider. “Sam is a helper and was there for her in her hardest times. He hopes she is OK.”

While Spears admitted that she injured her ankle, she denied reports that a fight went down with Soliz via a post shared to Instagram.

“Just to let people know… the news is fake !!!,” she wrote in part. “I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never in my room but I felt completely harassed.”

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the couple has been involved in an altercation. According to a separate report from TMZ, Spears and Soliz reportedly trashed a Las Vegas hotel room during an “intense fight” that allegedly took place four months before their latest debacle.

Page Six broke the news last August that Spears was spending more time with Soliz – her former housekeeper with a criminal past – after Asghari filed for divorce earlier that month.

The actor listed their date of separation as July 28 after just 14 months of marriage.
