‘The Voice USA’ Season 26 grand winner Sofronio Vasquez revealed an intriguing story involving his mentor, Michael Bublé, and acclaimed Filipina actress Kristine Hermosa.

“Nakuwento niya sa akin na nagkaroon sila ng conversation and talagang nagkaroon [siya] ng link with our dyosa, Kristine Hermosa,” Vasquez recounted.
The international crooner reportedly admired Hermosa’s beauty and spoke highly of her.
“He is so proud of it, na kumbaga na-admire niya how beautiful [Kristine is],” Vasquez added.
In a light-hearted moment, Vasquez joked that Hermosa could be the reason why Bublé has a soft spot for Filipinos.

“Kaya siguro talagang napamahal siya sa Pinoy kaso hindi siya nagtagumpay,” Vasquez quipped with a laugh.
In the ‘Fast Talk’ segment of the show, Vasquez revealed that Hermosa is also his celebrity crush.
The conversation took another turn when Vasquez addressed rumors suggesting he is Indonesian. The speculation, which surfaced among netizens, took him by surprise.
“Nagugulat nga ako, TIto Boy, bigla akong naging Indonesian. But I’m super blessed and grateful na kumbaga whether I am from Indonesia, it is a representation of being an Asian,” he explained.
Despite the misinformation, Vasquez expressed his appreciation for the support he received from different nationalities.
“Nilaban nila ako, kumbaga they fought for what they really think na sa kanila,” he said.
