SpongeBob SquarePants makes brutal Leonardo DiCaprio dating joke on live TV broadcast

SPONGEBOB SquarePants hilariously roasted Leonardo DiCaprio on Sunday during Nickelodeon’s Super Bowl telecast.

The alternative feed has been a huge success having delivered numerous viral moments during the big game.

Among them was a playful jab at DiCaprio’s dating history.

The Nickelodeon broadcast addressed the Hollywood actor’s presence after he was shown watching the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs battle in Super Bowl LVIII.

Right after, cheese and blotches of pizza sauce appeared on the screen alongside the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character Leonardo – known for his love of pizza.

“Catch me if you can with these pizzas,” announcer Noah Eagle said in a reference to DiCaprio, 45, starring in the 2002 movie Catch Me If You Can.

Tom Kenny’s SpongeBob then poked fun at the number of The Wolf of Wall Street star’s ex-girlfriends who were 25 or younger when dating him.

“Leonardo DiCaprio, 25!” Kenny said, recalling how SpongeBob and Patrick Star once obsessed over the number 25. “That’s about his dating history.”

The remark left Nickelodeon viewers in stitches.

“Spongebob isn’t wrong,” one wrote on X.

“Lmaoo SpongeBob commentating has been elite today,” another added.

“SpongeBob always been a real one,” a third said.

“The Nick feed was OUT OF THIS WORLD,” one wrote.

Nickelodeon’s Super Bowl broadcast also amazed viewers with the choice of the rule expert, played by Dora the Explorer.

And it went viral for some of the creative nicknames given to the attending celebrities, coupled with some augmented reality graphics.

Among them, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was turned into LePrawn James.
