While Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly been head over heels for Italian model Vittoria Ceretti for nearly a year, a video of him cuddling up to newly single star Teyana Taylor had fans talking. Many thought of this as a flirty interaction, or that DiCaprio and Ceretti may have split up. However, someone is setting the record straight: Taylor’s mother!

Loren Lorosa, a former senior news producer at TMZ, tweeted that Taylor’s mother Nikki Taylor set the record straight. She claimed that the interaction was “100% innocent,” adding, “Leo looks at Teyana like a sister.”

“Because the WME party where they were was super loud. This is why they were so close. They were downstairs on the lower level where it was set up like a disco with a dance floor and loud music. Leo and Teyana are just two costars who ran into each other in the party and were talking,” Nikki said to Lorosa. “The convo was about food because Teyana brought her own chef to set every day and everyone including Leo had begun only eating from Teyana’s chef.”

For those who don’t know, Teyana and DiCaprio are starring together in an upcoming 2025 film alongside Sean Penn, Alana Haim, and Regina King. DiCaprio is still seeing Ceretti, and they’ve been together since the summer of 2023, and Teyana is enjoying the single life as she works on divorcing from Iman Shumpert.
