The Last of Us season 1 was criticized for its lack of action sequences, but the season 2 teaser is full of great action scenes ripped straight from the game. The recently released teaser trailer for The Last of Us season 2 is jam-packed with thrilling action sequences taken directly from the game. Seraphites are seen marching through the woods, using fire to light their path just like they do when they’re hunting Ellie in the game. Ellie is seen running from a clicker in an abandoned subway station, just like in the game, and the scene even has the same ominous red lighting as the game.

The only glimpse of Kaitlyn Dever as Abby shows a horde of infected bearing down on her from the other side of a chain-link fence, exactly the same way it happens in the game. The Last of Us season 2 is shaping up to be an action-packed thrill-ride. Hopefully, it also brings in Ellie and Jesse’s ride through Hillcrest and Abby and Lev’s ride through the fires of war-torn Haven.
