“The Stars Aligned and Here I Am”: Adam Levine Reveals Why He Finally Returned to ‘The Voice,’ Will Fight…

While leaving his own mark in the music industry with the group Maroon 5, Adam Levine looked to help a new generation of singers. And he did it by coaching on the hit show The Voice. Part of the original lineup, the singer competed against other stars like Blake Shelton. And with each passing season, the stars helped fashion careers for many aspiring artists. But with Levine leaving the show back in 2019, he recently opened up about his decision to return for season 27.

With the new season just around the corner, Levine will make his return to The Voice as he will sit alongside stars like John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, and Michael Bublé. Although marking his first time on The Voice during season 26, Bublé walked away the winner thanks to Sofronio Vasquez. Although thrilled, Bublé hoped to expand his winning streak.

As for Levine, he discussed his return with E! News, explaining, “I just felt like it was time. I had some time to reflect and do my thing and be with my family.” He added, “I was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.”

Adam Levine Excited To Be Back On ‘The Voice’

With Levine looking back on his time on The Voice, the singer admitted he didn’t really miss it until he returned. “It’s funny, I actually didn’t miss it while I was gone. But I became more nostalgic about it once I came back.” Continuing to follow that thought, the singer noted, “I feel like no time has passed, but then it also feels so different in an amazing way. I’m just super happy and pumped. I love these guys so much.”

Back when Levine left the show in 2019, he took a moment to thank fellow coaches and the show for the great memories. “Thank you to every single coach I ever sat in those chairs with. That is shared experience that is singularly ours. We have that for life. Thank you to everyone who supported this long strange and amazing left turn into a place I never thought I’d go.”

But with Levine back, don’t miss the season 27 premiere of The Voice, kicking off tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
