Keanu Reeves is happy in love as he celebrates his 60th birthday!

The actor, who turned 60 on Sept. 2, 2024, has been dating artist Alexandra Grant since at least 2019. After confirming their relationship that year, the two have shared some sweet moments in front of the camera.

Though the couple had been linked since 2011, it wasn’t until the 2019 LACMA Art + Film Gala that they made their public debut as a couple. At the time, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that they “started dating earlier this year, but have wanted to keep it quiet.”

Months before they walked the carpet hand-in-hand and revealed their relationship, the two posed together at MOCA Benefit in May 2019.

And in June 2019, the pair hit the beach together for the Saint Laurent Mens fashion show in Paradise Cove Malibu, California.

Years in the Making

Before sharing their romantic connection with the world, the pair had been working together for years. In 2011, they published the adult picture book, Ode to Happiness followed by the release of their art book, Shadows, in 2016. In 2017 their professional relationship grew even further with the launch of their publishing house, X Artists’ Books.

Here, the couple stepped out hand-in-hand for the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala — four years after making their red carpet debut.
