Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez is back in the Philippines after winning “The Voice US” Season 26. He was the first Asian and first Filipino to win in the said competition and recently, he’s finally returned to the country.
One of the first shows he graced was It’s Showtime. Ahead of him are several activities he needs to attend such as press tours, commitments, guestings, and live performances. This included a show in Cebu for the Sinulog festival.
In a previous article, it was reported that Sofronio would have a solo concert in Cebu which will be on January 18, 2025. This will be held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
In a report from ABS-CBN News, the Pinoy pride shared how Showtime helped him when he failed to win in “Tawag Ng Tanghalan”. The noontime show hired him as a vocal coach and as a coach, he was not into technical. What he taught was his experiences and how to manage emotions while on stage.
He expressed, “I’m just sharing my experience. How to fight anxiety, how to be effective in connecting with people.”
The show trusted and believed in him first which was why he got the feels when he stepped foot in the studio again.
This was the same detail Vice Ganda shared during his appearance in the January 6 episode of the show as a clap back to the people who mocked them when they congratulated him in the program.
“After he joined TNT, even though he didn’t succeed there, he stayed. He became a vocal coach for the contestants of Tawag ng Tanghalan. You don’t know that, but he’s really family,” he shared.
