The Walking Dead has offered a first look at season 3 of its Daryl Dixon series.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon takes place 12 years after the outbreak, one year after the main show’s finale. The spin-off stars Norman Reedus as the lead, reprising his now titular role, while Melissa McBride returned as Carol Peletier, just in time for season 2.

Though Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol hasn’t hit our screens yet, a third season of the series was confirmed last month, with filming moving from France to Spain.

Now, The Walking Dead has provided fans with a sneak peek at the new setting, posting a video on X/Twitter. “HOLA ESPAÑA! Season 3 of #TWDCaryl is now in production,” confirmed the post.

The video saw Reedus and McBride on the Spanish set, sending a quick message to their fans before rushing off to continue filming.

“¡Hola, amigos!” said Reedus, before explaining his excitement for the upcoming season. “We’re so happy to be shooting season 3 here in beautiful Spain.”

The actors were eager to get back to work, with McBride ushering her co-star away. “¡Vamos! Let’s go! ¡Vamos!” she smiled, as the camera revealed the busy backdrop.

The short clip was enough to intrigue fans, who are already desperate for more episodes. “Can’t wait to see what happens next congratulations on season three,” wrote one. “We need like 20 seasons of this brilliant show,” said another.

A third noted: “Its interesting seeing the zombie apocalypse explored in different countries first America then Mexico then France and Spain!”
