While his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift resumes her world Eras tour, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is keeping busy.
Fresh off signing a contract restructure that makes him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL, Kelce is likely to earn another big check — still on the big screen but not on the field.
The All-Pro player has joined the cast of “American Horror Story: Grotesquerie.”
Co-star Niecy Nash posted an on-set video with him on social media late Tuesday featuring her on set with Kelce.
“Guys, guess who I am working with on ‘Grotesquerie’?” Kelce pops into frame and says, “Jumpin’ into new territory with Niecy.”
A later video where she wrote “late night shenanigans” showed the two in what appeared to be a red convertible. “Look at this guy,” she says. “Buckle up!” added Kelce.
“Deadline” also reported the news, citing anonymous sources; though producer Ryan Murphy, FX and the producing studio have not confirmed the casting.
The series, which just started production, also stars Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville.
Very few details about the series have been shared by Murphy or members of the cast. The show from the creator of “American Horror Story” is set to premiere in the fall.
Kelce has long been thought to throw his hat in the entertainment ring following his playing career.
He taped a stint as host of “Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?” for Prime Video during the off-season.
Kelce also hosted “Saturday Night Live” in March 2023 after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVII win over Philadelphia.
