A disturbing video on Friday showing Diddy beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura took the internet by storm for its shocking violence—but for Diddy’s former assistant, it wasn’t entirely unexpected. Suzi Siegi, who started as Diddy’s assistant around the time he started dating Ventura, told CNN on Friday that her “women’s intuition” led her to believe he was capable of violence. “Nobody was mistreated that I saw, I didn’t feel mistreated, but it was very clear to me, again, this is intuition,” Siegi told Kaitlan Collins, adding: “He just didn’t see your humanity when he looked at you.” Siegi said watching the video made her feel “sick” and “violently angry.” “It’s so disturbing that the video doesn’t lie,” she said. The video, captured by CCTV, showed Ventura trying to escape Diddy at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. As she waits for an elevator, Diddy comes out of their hotel room wearing a towel, approaches her, and throws her down to the ground. He then proceeds to repeatedly kick her as she lies still before dragging her by her leg back to the room.
