Tupac’s accused killer drew the murder’s connection with P. Diddy, claiming that the latter hired him for the job.
Prior to his death, Tupac Shakur and P. Diddy weren’t exactly on the nicest of terms, especially after the former joined Diddy’s rival label, Death Row. Moreover, the Life Goes On rapper vehemently believed that the Bad Boy Records owner was somewhat involved with his earlier shooting back in ’94.

While Diddy himself has denied these claims, Duane Davis, the accused killer of Tupac, claimed that the former allegedly offered a handsome amount to take out his rival musician, and added he had no hesitations about taking the alleged job.

Given the extremely tense situations of the late 90s, which surged from the East Coast/West Coast feud at the time, according to Tupac’s accused killer, Diddy allegedly put a whopping $1M bounty on the rapper’s head. While Davis claimed that the Bad Boys Record owner didn’t directly ask anyone to carry out the alleged hit initially, David alleged that the rapper later gave him a million bucks for the job. After the alleged deal, he apparently told Diddy: “Man, we’ll wipe their a**es out quick”.
Davis further added that he’d have carried out the alleged hit even if the pay was as low as $50K. He later said that Diddy was allegedly “happy as hell” after finding out about the shootings of Tupac Shakur and Death Row founder Surge Knight. While Davis was charged in 2023 for the murder of Tupac, the Bad Boy Records owner has continued to deny any connection with the Life Goes On rapper’s murder.
Eminem Continues to Link Tupac Shakur’s Death With Diddy

Davis isn’t the lone one who has linked Diddy to Tupac’s death, as Eminem hasn’t shied away from doing Diddy dirty with his rhymes.
In his previous diss track, Killshot, shot at MGK, the Grammy winner first tossed these claims, whose lyrics read:
Kells, the day you put out a hit’s the day Diddy admits / That he put the hit out that got Pac killed.
In his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), the rapper delved deeper into the rabbit hole with the track Fuel – Shady Edition, featuring Westside Boogie and Grip. Some of these bars read:
Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effects of Tupac’s murder / Like facial tissue, whose card should I clean next? Puff’s?… Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up? / Like gee, never turned himself in, who knows all the murders there’ll have been / Or me mixed up, prepare for me to not choose none of my words carefully
Although it doesn’t seem the mystery surrounding his alleged involvement in Tupac’s death is going to get solved anytime soon, given the heaps of other charges lined up against Diddy, things aren’t looking great for Diddy.
