A MODEL with a penchant for figure-baring fashion, Hailey Bieber was never about to embrace muumuus and other maternity wear.

According to a New York stylist, the Rhode founder is clinging to having her own identity with her fashion choices — but that’s not all we can glean from her style statements.

Hailey, 27, and Justin Bieber, 30, were photographed heading home on Thursday after a Billie Eilish concert in Los Angeles.

The model, reportedly six months pregnant, stood out in a red and black Fila cap.

Hailey showed her baby bump underneath an oversized leather bomber jacket with a white crop top.

Stylist Amanda Sanders said Hailey’s outfit showed she was “hanging on” to her youth.

Her husband followed behind, dressed in matching, oversized clothes.

“Hailey will not buy proper maternity clothes as her pregnancy progresses,” Sanders told The U.S. Sun.

“She is trying to figure out what she already has in her closet that works on her changing shape.

“Her current choices show that Hailey is trying to maintain her identity and still look youthful before the birth.

“She is still wearing her old wardrobe, which also means she is clinging to a little bit of her.

“She is also probably nervous about certain parts of becoming a mom and is hanging on to the Hailey that was.

“This is also a part of Hailey’s nesting.

“Her pregnancy style will continue like this until she gives birth.”

FILL OUT

Noting Hailey’s baggy men’s shorts, Sanders said the star wore them to feel closer to her husband.

“I do not get the Michael Jackson socks, shoes, or heavy leather jacket, but Hailey appears to be wearing Justin’s sports shorts,” she said.

“This shows that Hailey wants to feel uber-connected to her husband.

“She would feel more connected to Justin by wearing more of his clothes.

This is the end of her adolescence and youth and marks when Hailey can no longer be selfless.

“Putting on Justin’s T-shirt or shorts might look cute on her now, but Hailey’s body will finally fill Justin’s clothes instead of looking ridiculous on her [as they would have] pre-pregnancy.

“We will see elements of this during her final few months of pregnancy.”

Justin and Hailey announced their pregnancy during a Hawaii vacation.

Hailey had showed off her bump when the couple renewed their marriage vows.

Justin and Hailey had known one another since 2009 when they hit it off on the Today Show and went public as a couple in 2015.

Hailey has also been sharing photos of her bump on Instagram.

Sanders said she was playing around with different styles.

“At six months, she has been seeing what clothes she can get away with,” she said.

“There is the scariness of having a baby and a new being in your body.

“It is highlighted for Hailey because it is a very public pregnancy.

“The pregnancy is the end of her adolescence and youth.

“It marks a time when Hailey can no longer be selfless.

Hailey has been photographed in Los Angeles in a white crop top, jeans, and black patent leather loafers.

She walked alongside Justin with her oversized coat open.

Sanders claimed her jackets and coats were signs of “protection.”

“Hailey is not fully exposed,” she said.

Even with her belly hanging out, she has done these looks before.

“Hailey will continue going to her wardrobe because she does wear oversized stuff.

“Some pregnant women embrace proper maternity styles, but Hailey is not.”

THROWBACK

Hailey’s first Instagram photo showing her bump included a pink butterfly vest. This was taken on her Hawaiian getaway.

Sanders said it was a “throwback.”

“The pink butterfly top feels very ’90s,” she said.

“Hailey is usually very fashion-forward, and this feels like a throwback, which is adorable.

“She is a young parent, and this looked fun.

He still looks homeless whenever he stands or walks beside her.

Until now, Hailey has been known to experiment with different looks on red carpets.

She is famed for heading out in Los Angeles wearing attention-grabbing street styles.

Justin, on the other hand, keeps things casual.

His go-to fashion choices are oversized hoodies, jackets, and pants.

“It’s so funny because I see so many people talk about this,” Hailey told GQ in October about the mismatch of their styles.

“He may want to wear baggy sweats to dinner, and I might want to wear a tiny little dress just because that’s how I’m feeling. We can’t sit there and be like, ‘So I’m going to wear this and you’re going to wear this.’”

Sanders said Justin continued to carry on as usual.

“Justin still looks the same as ever next to Hailey,” she said.

“He still looks homeless whenever he stands or walks beside her.

“This is while Hailey’s body moves, shifts, and changes.

“It is an evolution for her and part of life.”
