Well, it makes sense why PlayStation is convincing players to try out that game as most PC players are not happy. Just like Helldivers 2, God of War Ragnarök is also asking players to link their PSN account to play the game. As a result, the game is being bombarded with negative reviews.

PlayStation Lists Out 5 Reasons Why Players Should Try Out God of War Ragnarök

The official Instagram account of PlayStation has shared five reasons why PC players need to try out God of War Ragnarök. All animal lovers will love the game as the list starts with Speki and then Svanna, who are two female large wolves that wear harnesses to connect them to a sled for pulling Kratos and his companion.

Next on the list is Ratatoskr, a squirrel who guards the World Tree of Yggdrasil. Then on the fourth spot, we have Jalla, a yak that accompanies the giantess Angrboda. Finally, we have the mighty wolf Fenrir. We must admit, that’s a clever way to promote the game.

No matter how many characters they use to market the game, no one can forgive Sony for its annoying PSN account linking policy. Although Ragnarök currently sits at “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam, it was initially bombarded with negative reviews because the game required players to create a PSN account.

If you’re not convinced by PlayStation’s list, don’t worry as the PC-specific features that haven’t even made their way to the PS5 version yet will convince you to buy the game. As explained in a PlayStation.Blog post, the game now has an option to reduce the frequency with which you hear puzzle hints from your companions. The next feature will be extremely useful for players with impaired vision. Through the Audio Accessibility menu, players can enable a setting that provides audio descriptions of the cinematics in the game.

God of War Ragnarök is often labeled as one of the best action-adventure games of all time. The game sold 5.1 million units in its first week thanks to its exceptional storytelling, characters, visuals, and level design. The game was nominated and won various prestigious awards.

God of War Ragnarök was released on 19th September 2024 on both Steam and Epic Game Store.
