The finale of Under the Bridge is right around the corner, which means the Virk family will (hopefully) get the justice they deserve. The show—which is inspired by a true story—recounts the murder of Reena Virk, a fourteen-year-old girl who went to a party in 1997 and never came home. Virk is played by Vritika Gupta in the series. Meanwhile, Riley Keough portrays Rebecca Godfrey, a writer who (in real life) penned an award-winning book about the mystery. Opposite her is Lily Gladstone as Cam Bentland, a cop who’s drawn to the case, too.
In case you missed it, Under the Bridge’s trailer set the stage for an unnerving thriller. In the opening shot, Keough offers a chilling voice-over. “There’s danger everywhere,” she says. “But danger had never looked quite like this before.” Cue shots of Virk and a group of very suspicious-looking teenagers. “Can you keep a secret?” one girl asks. Spoiler alert—nope. As the series progresses, we learn who is responsible for Virk’s death and why.
With Gladstone and Keough leading the series, Under the Bridge is vying for a spot on our list of 2024’s best TV shows. Below, you’ll find instructions on how and when to watch it. It’s not too late to catch up before the series finale on May 29.
