Gina Carano is in recent times under the media spotlight not due to her career but due to her ongoing fight with her former employer, Disney. Carano used to have a spot on the mega-popular ‘The Mandalorian’ show as Cara Dune and was reportedly bound to get her spinoff. Everything changed when Carano posted a series of offensive tweets equaling COVID-19 prosecution to the Holocaust.

The actress got in trouble with the company as well when she refused to put pronouns in her X bio (formerly Twitter), as she states she was put through a re-education camp. Needless to say, her contract was not renewed.

Losing her spot on the show and potential rose, the actress decided to sue Disney seeking damages or rehiring as she claims she was fired due to having a different political opinion and that would be discrimination. Musk is financing the lawsuit, and the recent update on the lawsuit is that Carano managed to gain a small but significant victory in the process. The court decided to proceed with the lawsuit despite Disney’s best attempts to get it thrown out of the court.

The judge explained that the media company does not hire performers to maintain their good social image so the lawsuit will be proceeding to either trial or settlement. Following this, Carano never misses an opportunity to mock Disney or, people who used to advocate for her dismissal, and it seems that Hamill has found himself as Carano’s next target (again.)

The first debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump took place in Philadelphia on September 10. Moderated by ABC News, the debate covered a broad range of topics including the economy, abortion, immigration, and race, and extended beyond the planned 90 minutes.

Prior to the debate, Carano asked X where to watch the debate since she doesn’t have cable, ironically enough she was able to stream it on Disney or Hulu, and she had a hilarious response when people pointed it out:

Mark Hamill and Gina Carano are “natural enemies.” Mark Hamill is known for his liberal political views. He has been vocal on various social and political issues, often supporting progressive causes and criticizing conservative policies. Hamill has used his platform to advocate for issues such as climate change action, gun control, and social justice, aligning with liberal perspectives on these matters. Since Carano is pretty conservative, it’s quite clear that the two aren’t the best of friends despite being a part of the massively popular franchise.

This is not the first time that Carano went after Hamill. In the past, the actress called him a “talking piece of dung” due to Hamill seemingly mocking former President Donald Trump while he was praying:

Before Hamill, she criticized Disney, Lucasfilm, and Jack Black after Black laughed and endorsed his Tenacious D band member Kyle Gass’s joke about hoping a second assassin would kill President Donald Trump. As you can see, Carano is fighting a war on several fronts.
