Leads on missing Enterprise girl taking police across southeast
DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Investigators are working around the clock, following tips wherever they may lead in an attempt to crack the case of the mysterious disappearance of 2-year-old Genesis Nova Reid.
Law enforcement sources connected to the search tell WDHN that Friday has been dedicated to investigators working on all tips and leads that come in regarding Genesis’s case.

Some of those tips have led investigators across the southeast, from Texas to Florida and Georgia.
While the case has moved into a “lengthy” phase, the Enterprise Police Chief says searches will not be scaled back.
Genesis’s mother, Adrienne Reid, is currently being held in the Coffee County Jail on a $1 million cash-only bond. She is facing one count of false reporting to law enforcement agencies, a Class C Felony.
A vigil would be held on Friday, February 20, at Bates Memorial Stadium on East Watts Avenue. The vigil is set to start at 7:00 p.m., and gates open at 6:30 p.m. The case is being worked by the Enterprise Police Department, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, the State Bureau of Investigation, the FBI, and the U.S. Marshals.
