Charlesâ Relationship with Beatrice & Eugenie Reportedly Takes a Turn for the Worse as the Elder Princess âCanât Stop Cryingâ While the Other Is âin Denialâ

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are experiencing the fallout of their parentsâ decisions these days, and all reports indicate things are anything but simple for the sisters. Itâs not just Andrewâs arrest for suspicion of misconduct in public office, or the fact that both he and their mother, Sarah Ferguson, are heavily featured in the Epstein files, itâs the fact that their names have been dragged into the scandal as well.
Thatâs right, a leaked email from June 2011 shows that Andrew pushed for his daughters to receive ÂŁ50,000 each in payments from billionaire Jonathan Rowland, presumably in exchange for classified information. And though there is no confirmation that the payments were ever made, itâs put both of them even more in the spotlight at a really complicated time.
With renewed calls for both to publicly renounce their parents, a royal source told the Daily Mail that at this point, the two have left King Charles no choice but to distance himself from the two of them. Earlier reports indicated the King was doing his best to protect both of them from the fallout of what happened to Andrew.
âBeatrice and Eugenie are particularly vulnerable at the moment,â an insider said. âAs they are dragged further into the Epstein web, the King is shifting his stance on the girlsâ future. Although they arenât implicated in any of Epsteinâs wrongdoings, their own association with him threatens to tarnish the reputation of the throne.â
This all comes as The Daily Mail recently reported that the two are having a hard time. âBoth girls are very highly strung and emotional, like their mother,â a royal source said. âBeatrice is trying to come to terms with it matter-of-factly, although canât help bursting into tears regularly â not for her father but for the implosion of her own world and, especially, the familyâs cold shoulder. Her royal status means more to her than Eugenie.â
Her sister, meanwhile, âhas apparently gone into denial â fingers in the ears, head in the sand, hoping it will all go away.â Basically, âBeatrice canât stop crying and Eugenie has her head in the sand,â according to sources.

Other reports indicate itâs all taking a strain not just on their relationship with King Charles, but the one between the princesses and their husbands. Heat reported that âThe princesses are devastated by whatâs happening â their worlds are falling apart. Jack and Edo are both doing their best to be supportive, but the strain is affecting their home life. Their view of their parents has been irreparably shattered, theyâre facing social ruin, and now Jack and Edo have been dragged into the drama, as they are facing questions about Andrew â itâs mortifying. Obviously, itâs not the girlsâ fault, but that doesnât mean itâs not causing tension.â
The question now seems to be whether either of the sisters will come out against their parents publicly. âJack and Edo want to know how long this is going to drag on. Both Eugenie and Beatrice have so far chosen to remain silent, and there are certainly some people who wonder if theyâre doing the right thing by keeping so tight-lipped and feel theyâd be better off speaking out.â
