Willa Fitzgerald—Officer Roscoe Conklin in Reacher Season 1—likes the idea of reuniting with Alan Ritchson in future seasons of the hit series.
Ritchson, of course, stars as former military policeman-turned-private investigator Jack Reacher in Reacher, which is based on author Lee Child’s best-selling Jack Reach book series.
Roscoe was a key character in Season 1 of the hit Prime Video series, which is based on Child’s debut Jack Reacher novel Killing Floor from 1997. In addition to Ritchson and Fitzgerald, Reacher Season 1 starred Malcolm Goodwin as Roscoe’s boss, Oscar Finlay.
Since Oscar turned up in an episode of Reacher Season 2—which is based on Child’s 11th Jack Reacher novel Bad Luck and Trouble—it’s entirely conceivable that Fitzgerald could reprise Roscoe in future seasons of Reacher.
It’s character is clearly on Reacher series creator Nick Santora’s mind since there was a reference to Roscoe in Season 2.
During a phone conversation with Fitzgerald for a role in the new serial killer thriller Strange Darling, the actor said she doesn’t have any intel on a possible return of her character in the future, but she’s keeping up with what’s happening in the series.
“I don’t have any insider knowledge about whether there will be more Roscoe or not,” Fitzgerald said. “I’m as much in the dark as anyone else, but I love playing that character and I loved getting the chance to help initiate the Reacher television universe.
“It was a lot of fun to take on and I have a lot of respect for Nick Santora, the showrunner, and I still watch the show,” Fitzgerald added. “I love watching the show and am excited to see where it goes from here.”
Reacher Season 3—which is expected to be released sometime in 2025—is based on Child’s seventh Jack Reacher book Persuader.

Fitzgerald’s ‘Strange Darling’ Is Twisty Mindbender
In Strange Darling, which opened in theaters nationwide over the weekend, Willa Fitzgerald plays a character that simply is billed as The Lady.
The serial killer movie—which is written and directed by J.T. Mollner—is presented out of sequence in six chapters. Chapter 3 opens the film and shows The Lady running for her life from The Demon (Kyle Gallner), who is brandishing a shotgun.
As the film plays out, it’s revealed that The Demon’s pursuit of The Lady stems from an erotic encounter between the two that has spun out of control. However, as more chapters are presented in the film, it becomes more apparent that nothing is as it seems.
Strange Darling, naturally, has a big twist and as such, she hopes viewers will go into the movie knowing as little about the movie as possible.
“It’s definitely the most fun way you can watch it by not knowing details,” Fitzgerald said. “I’m sure with the more people that see it and when it does happen [and the big reveal gets out], it will still be a movie that surprises you.
“What’s so great about this script and this movie is about the journey of the whole and not one specific thing that happens,” Fitzgerald added. “Even after people see it and things are getting written, I think Strange Darling will still maintain that essential element of surprise just because of how the movie accomplishes it.”
Shot by first-time cinematographer Giovanni Ribisi, Strange Darling is new in theaters.
