According to reports online, various high-profile celebrities are now on Ferrari’s “blacklist”.

Despite the manufacturer’s luxury cars are far more expensive than the average driving machine, some celebrities are said to not even be allowed to purchase one even if able to afford it.

It’s said the “blacklist” banning of some people is mostly due to them modifying Ferrari’s cars without permission.

As per a list compiled by sources online, here are some of the famous names supposedly blacklisted by the exclusive car manufacturer –

1 50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent reportedly landed his name onto Ferrari’s ‘blacklist’ when taking to his social platform to criticize their cars, after running into problems with his Ferrari 488’s battery.

As a result of this incident, the rapper’s car was towed – which he documented and berated Ferrari for online.

2 Justin Bieber

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber is said to be on the ‘blacklist’ for a number of offences, one being a time when the singer customised his Ferrari 458 Italia F1 Edition with West Coast Customs.

The customisation came in the form of wrapping the car, originally white, in a blue colour.

It’s also said that Bieber lost the aforementioned car after a drunken night out in the town of Los Angeles, which ended up taking his team three weeks to locate which landed him right on the inamous ‘blacklist’.

3 Kim Kardashian

Reality star Kim Kardashian is said to be on the Ferrari ‘blacklist’ after accepting one of their cars as a wedding gift in 2011 from a Malaysian businessman who just so happened to be a financial fraudster.
Despite denying ever receiving the car as a gift, RadarOnline reported that the Ferrari was delivered right to her house – with the car manufacturer making clear that she would no longer be able to buy exclusive or special edition models.

4 Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is also reportedly on the ‘blacklist’ and despite being the wealthiest boxer in history, Ferrari was reportedly unhappy with the athlete selling his exclusive cars shortly after buying them – despite ownership rules stating you must have the car for at least over a year before doing so.

5 Deadmau5

Similar to Bieber, Canadian music producer Deadmau5 also landed himself on the infamous ‘blacklist’ for customising his 458 Italia in blue vinyl as a tribute to the internet meme: Nyan Cat.

Ferrari is said to have served him a cease and desist letter for all customisations to be removed after he showed off the car which he later coined as ‘Purrari’.

6 Nicolas Cage

Even one of Hollywood’s most famous actors, Nicolas Cage, landed himself on the Ferrari ‘blacklist’.

Due to running into tax problems with the government, Cage ended up having to sell most of his property to pay off the debt – one of which being an extremely rare and highly valuable Ferrari Enzo sports car.

As a result of selling the car far below its actual worth, Ferrari banned the actor for what is said to have devalued their brand.
