Vi in Arcane season 2

About three years after engrossing audiences with its visuals and narrative, Riot Games and Fortiche Production are releasing the second and final season of the animated series, Arcane. Based on the popular video game League of Legends, Arcane has quickly become a cultural phenomenon.

Celebrating the release of this new chapter, Riot is launching Arcane season 2 skins. These skins allow players to embody their favorite champions as they experience the thrilling conclusion of the series.

Let’s take a look into the details of these four Arcane season 2 skins coming to League of Legends.

Here’s our first look at all Arcane season 2 skins for Vi, Caitlyn, Jinx, and Singed

As previously announced by Riot Games, League of Legends is introducing a new skin for Vi called Arcane Brawler Vi. This skin, inspired by her appearance in Arcane season 2, showcases her transformation into a formidable fighter in the world of the Piltover Boxing League.

Arcane Brawler Vi’s attire consists of a bandage binder, a cropped jacket, and skinny, tattered jeans. Her hair undergoes a dramatic transformation, now a vibrant purple with a single streak of her original pink. Her gauntlets are redesigned with a brass and metallic palette, adorned with streaks of red and blue paint.

Riot is also introducing Arcane Fractured Jinx, the first skin in the new Exalted skin tier. This premium skin tier requires players to use a new luck-based system called the Sanctum.

Each draw in the Sanctum costs 400 RP, with a 0.5% chance of obtaining the skin. To guarantee the skin, players would need to make 80 draws, totaling approximately 32,000 RP.

The Arcane Fractured Jinx skin offers a unique in-game experience, allowing players to relive Jinx’s journey from Arcane. Each of the skin’s forms, complete with voice lines, can be seamlessly switched between using a slot-machine mechanic. These forms are visually reflected in three unique HUD overlays for Jinx’s passive ability, blending elements from both seasons of the series.

“As the work for Arcane began, we became inspired by not just the show, but by Jinx’s story in season 2 in particular,” the developers said in a statement. “Her chaotic energy is brought to the Rift through two distinct models across three different forms and VFX that highlight her story.”

The Commander Caitlyn skin captures the elegant and sophisticated look of Piltover’s Finest. She dons a stylish cape, beret, dress, and tights, reminiscent of the uniform seen in the official Arcane season 2 trailer. Armed with a powerful hextech rifle, Caitlyn is ready to uphold justice in League of Legends.

The Shimmer Lab Singed skin shows the appearance of the Zaunite scientist from season 1. Clad in a bandage binder, a shabby jacket, and a red scarf that obscures half his face, Singed is armed with a terrifying apparatus that he uses to transport shimmer, a dangerous substance.

Before the launch of these Arcane season 2 skins, Riot Games previously released a set of Arcane-inspired skins for Jayce, Vi, Caitlyn, and Jinx in 2021. These skins were available for a limited time and could be earned by playing a certain number of games.
