Though she left one show, the other one is safe.
The recent news may have caused some kind of panic attack among Wednesday ’s fans, but they can now have a good sleep at night — unlike those who enjoyed Jenna Ortega ’s character in the animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
When Netflix dropped a new trailer for the show and the news broke online, everybody got concerned about Ortega’s future in the streaming’s biggest hit Wednesday, but now it’s Jurassic World’s fans who should be concerned — and the actress unwillingly confirmed the sad truth herself.
It’s quite fair to say that the show’s brand new trailer has no intrigue at all. The short video proves that Ortega’s character Brooklynn dies in the very beginning, and her death is quickly confirmed by Ben Pincus’s words about the fact that “Brooklynn’s death was no accident. She was targeted.”
The new show that is set to be released on May 24 comes as a sequel for the original series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous which follows a group of teenagers who get lost on Isla Nublar after several dinosaurs suddenly escaped places they belonged to.
Still having Jenna Ortega as one of the main characters, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’s trailer caused a lot of confusion among fans who never got to understand what was the point of killing off someone who leads the whole show.
Despite the disheartening news that seems to be confirmed by the trailer and Ortega’s name’s absence in the voice cast, some fans still cherish a hope that Brooklynn might still be back.
The most viral theories mentions a possibility of her comeback in flashbacks, given that the sequel’s events unfold six years after what the original series showed, or even a shocking surprising return thus making viewers believe that they were all fooled into believing she was dead.
The fans’ theories will be confirmed or rather entirely debunked later in May when the show finally arrives on Netflix.
