Alan Ritchson was equipped with a body cam during a street brawl with his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, capturing the altercation from the beginning.
Alan Ritchson apparently had a body cam on before he got involved in a street brawl with his Nashville neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, and it is now clear who started the discord.
Taylor has spoken out in light of the incident, saying he told the actor to slow down with his bike and even admitted to pushing the “Reacher” star.
However, while Taylor claimed this happened because Alan Ritchson “was coming towards” him on his bike, the recently released video clip says otherwise.

Ritchson was equipped with a body cam when he got into a heated altercation with his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, capturing the nasty street fight.
In the footage, shared by TMZ, Taylor is seen coming off his property into the street to confront Ritchson as he rode on his bike in their upscale Brentwood, Tennessee, neighborhood.
As Ritchson got close to Taylor, the angry neighbor attempted to block the actor from driving further by standing in front of him with his legs spread wide apart. This seemingly provoked Ritchson, who dismounted his green Kawasaki bike and approached Taylor.
Taylor then expressed concern for the safety of other children in the neighborhood, telling Ritchson that he was riding “like a f-cking lunatic,” but the actor didn’t get physical at that point and only retorted to the neighbor that he was out of his “f-cking mind,” while inquiring to know if he had been drinking.

As the situation intensified, the “War Machine” actor told Taylor that he should have run him over. He then headed back to his bike, got on it, put on his helmet, and revved the engine, ready to zoom off.
However, Taylor appeared to have been infuriated by this, as he stepped out onto the street and started pushing the actor and his bike twice.
It was at that point Ritchson retaliated and hit him several times across his face, telling him to stay down.
Investigation into the heated altercation is still on, but no arrest has been made yet.
A Brentwood, Tennessee, Police Department spokesman told the Daily Mail, “There is an active investigation, and no arrests have been made. There will be a police report available when the investigation has concluded.”
Ritchson also refused to comment on the incident, telling the news outlet, “I can’t answer questions about that right now. There’s an active investigation.”
The Actor’s Neighbor Told A Very Different Story

Taylor gave quite a conflicting narration of the event to TMZ, but admitted that he pushed Ritchson first and didn’t know he was initially.
He noted that the situation “escalated quickly” when he demanded that the actor and his boys stop their alleged bike speeding to prevent someone getting hurt.
Taylor admitted, “I did push him because he was coming towards me on his bike.”
He then confessed to pushing Ritchson a “second time,” before explaining that the bike-riding action star “got off his bike” the second time and “kicked the crap out of me.”
“He hit me in the back of my head [and] I went to the ground and covered myself,” he continued, explaining that he doesn’t wish the “Fast X” actor any “ill will.”

Ritchson himself has not issued a formal public statement, but his social media activity hasn’t gone unnoticed.
The actor posted a Napoleon Bonaparte quote about how to interact with an “enemy” on Instagram the day after the incident.
“Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake – Napoleon Bonaparte,” the cryptic post read.
Like his real-life drama, Ritchson has played the action hero Jack Reacher on Prime Video’s “Reacher” since 2022, a character known for his willingness to fight back when provoked.

Ritchson has been quite candid about his personal struggles, as he once opened up about his mental health battle, revealing that he attempted suicide in 2019.
He made the revelation in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, saying that it was a vision of his children he got that made him have a rethink. Following the suicide attempt, he sought help from a doctor who diagnosed him with bipolar disorder.
“I was diagnosed as bipolar right after. Deep down, I was comforted to know, ‘OK, there’s a name for this,’” he said.
Ritchson only got better after a friend suggested he try MDMA therapy with his wife, Catherine.
“I swear to God, the biggest light bulb went off, and it rewired my brain in the best way. MDMA is a proven therapy to treat PTSD in veterans, and it’s something that can work in cognitive therapy settings,” he explained.
Ritchson has been married to Catherine since 2006, and together they share three boys.
