Eminem Becomes a Grandpa! Hailie Jade Welcomes First Baby With Husband Evan McClintock.
From Rap God to Proud Grandpa! Eminem is officially a grandfather for the first time, as daughter Hailie Jade has welcomed baby No. 1 with husband Evan McClintock.
Hailie, 29, announced the birth via Instagram on Friday, April 4, revealing that she and Evan’s baby boy, Elliot Marshall McClintock, was born on March 14.
“mom & dad est. 2025,” she captioned the post.
“Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e,” she captioned hospital photos of the infant wearing a blue hooded outfit.
Eminem, 52, revealed on October 3, 2024, that Hailie is expecting her first child through the music video for his track “Temporary.” The video included heartwarming home clips of the influencer sharing the news with her dad that he would soon be a grandpa. She presented the 8 Mile star with a blue jersey that read “Grandpa” on the back and showed him an ultrasound image. Eminem was visibly emotional, turning to the camera with a look of surprise. The touching video also showcased various moments from Hailie’s life, featuring her as a young girl and on her wedding day. Eminem, who has also adopted Alaina Marie Scott and Stevie Laine Scott, dedicated the song “Temporary” to Hailie.
“A lot of people ask me, am I afraid of death?/ The truth is, I think what scares me the most/ Is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you,” the rapper says in the song’s introduction. “When I’m no longer here/ So this song is for Hailie for when that day comes.”
The video and song hold a special place in the hearts of fans who have witnessed Hailie’s growth over the years. She was born just a year before Eminem released his first studio album, Infinite, and the rapper known for “Houdini” has penned tracks like “Mockingbird” and “Hailie’s Song” that reflect his experiences as a parent.

Shortly after the music video was released, Hailie took to Instagram to share her pregnancy news, posting her own announcement photos. The charming images featured the social media star perched on a kitchen counter, with her arms around Evan, who stood between her legs, gazing at her with affection. Hailie held a set of sonogram pictures behind Evan’s back while looking lovingly into his eyes.
The pregnancy news came after Hailie and Evan tied the knot in May.
“Waking up a wife this week,” she captioned a carousel of photos from their wedding day on Instagram. “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
The couple got engaged in February 2023 after nearly seven years of dating.
