Hi, his name is Elliot Marshall McClintock, and he’s Slim Shady’s first grandchild.
Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Mathers gave birth to a baby boy on March 14. She made the announcement on Instagram on Friday morning.
“Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e,” she wrote in the caption.
The name honors the little one’s maternal grandfather, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.
In October of 2024, Mathers and her husband, Evan McClintock, announced they were expecting in a post on the social media site.

“Mom & dad est. 2025,” she wrote alongside a heart emoji. The couple tied the knot in May of 2024.
Last year, Eminem released a music video for his song “Temporary” featuring Skylar Grey. The video features various home movies of the father and daughter, including footage from her wedding day and when she revealed he was going to be a grandpa.
The video shows her walking over to him, holding a Detroit Lions jersey. The “Lose Yourself” rapper opens it up, and it reads “grandpa” and the number one on the back.
Hailie is the oldest child of Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Scott. They also share daughters Alaina Scott and Stevie Laine Scott.
Alaina was the daughter of Kim’s sister, who Eminem adopted in the early 2000s. Stevie is Kim’s daughter with ex-boyfriend Eric Hartter. The 15-time Grammy winner also adopted her when he and Kim got back together in 2005. People magazine reports that her biological dad passed away in 2019.
