The Netflix drama from creator Tyler Perry follows Kimmie, a former exotic dancer who becomes involved with the Bellarie family and their haircare empire, eventually ascending to power as the company’s chief operating officer.
The second half of Beauty in Black season 2 premiered on March 19 on Netflix, concluding with a dramatic cliffhanger. The salacious series ended with a heated business meeting between members of the Bellarie family, where secrets and scandals came to the surface.
The final moments showed FBI agents raiding the Beauty in Black offices, as Kimmie reveals she, along with her husband Horace (Ricco Ross) and Mallory (Crystle Stewart), have outsmarted the others at the table.
“The tension, the drama, and the power struggles are only going to deepen from here,” Stewart told Tudum about the end of season 2. “And viewers are going to see these characters pushed further than ever before.”

Yes, Beauty in Black is coming back for a third and final season.
The renewal announcement was made in December 2025. Netflix said season 3 will bring “Kimmie’s journey with the Bellarie family to an epic conclusion.”
“Have no fear, we have one more part!” Williams teased about the upcoming episodes, per Tudum.
