Fox News’s Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity are engaged. According to an announcement from Fox, Hannity popped the question at their church in Florida.
The couple have maintained their long-distance relationship for years, with Hannity living in Florida and Earhardt living in New York.
“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” Hannity, 62, and Earhardt, 48, said in Fox’s announcement.
According to Fox, the two will continue their current roles at the network, with Hannity keeping his position at his long-running Fox News show, Hannity, and Earhardt hosting Fox & Friends alongside co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.
President-elect Donald Trump, a big fan of Fox & Friends who has been interviewed by both Hannity and Earhardt, celebrated the announcement on social media.
“Great news about Sean and Ainsley,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They are officially engaged to be married! There are no finer people than these, and there will be no finer couple. Congratulations to both — A deal made in HEAVEN!!!”
Hannity and Earhardt’s previous marriages
This will be the third marriage for Earhardt, who has worked at Fox News since 2007. During her first years at the network, she hosted a segment on Hannity before becoming a Fox & Friends co-host in 2016. She was married to former Clemson Tigers quarterback Will Proctor in 2012 and divorced in 2019. The two have a 9-year-old daughter. Her first marriage was to film producer Kevin McKinney in 2005; they divorced in 2009.
Hannity was married to former journalist Jill Rhodes from 1993 to 2019, and the two have a 26-year-old son and a 23-year-old daughter.
The ‘first couple’ of Fox News
Vanity Fair first reported in August 2020 that Earhardt and Hannity were dating after they arrived together at Fox & Friends weekend host Pete Hegseth and Fox producer Jennifer Rauchet’s wedding at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.
“It was as if Hannity and Earhardt were the first couple of Fox News — which they are,” Vanity Fair wrote, referring to them as a figurative first lady and president of the media network.
