Eminem is officially a grandfather after his daughter, Hailie Jade McClintock, gave birth to her first child in March.
Ten months after Hailie Jade married husband Evan McClintock on May 20, 2024, the couple welcomed their son, and honored the famous rapper with the little one’s moniker, Elliot Marshall McClintock. (Eminem’s real name is Marshall Mathers III.)
Hailie Jade, 29, took to Instagram on Friday, April 4, to share the special news, her son’s moniker and first public picture of him.
The snap shows the infant still in the hospital, dressed in a gray button up hooded onesie.
Above his head is a letter board that reads his name, “Elliot Marshall McClintock.” He was born on March 14.
In the caption, Hailie Jade also shared Elliot’s nickname, writing, “Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e 🤍.”

Not only is Elliot’s middle name a nod to Eminem’s government moniker, but his initials are also a nod to his rap persona: “EM&M.”
Fans quickly took to the comments section to share how emotional they were over the tribute.
“Not me tearing up at the middle name like I’m related,” one comment wrote in the comment section, while another wrote, “His initials are EM & M 🩵 Genius! What a little cutie.”

“The middle name and the initials i’m cryingggg,” shared a third commenter.
Hailie Jade, with the help of her father, announced she was pregnant in October 2024 in one of Eminem’s music videos for his song “Temporary.”
At the end of the video, Hailie Jade is seen gifting Eminem, 51, a Detroit Lions jersey that read “Grandpa” on the back.
In a previous episode of her “Just a Little Shady” podcast, Hailie Jade admitted that “Temporary” was one of her dad’s newest songs that left her in tears.
“I audibly sobbed, I think, for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary,’” Hailie Jade said on her podcast, also talking about the song titled, “Somebody Save Me.”
Hailie Jade, who was pregnant at her wedding to Evan, enlisted the help of her podcast co-host Brittany Ednie to help her keep her pregnancy a secret from fellow wedding guest.
“She was, you know, grabbing a drink, not consuming the drink as a responsible parent does. Whenever people were turned around, she would hand me her drink, and I would chug so it looked as if she was continuously drinking throughout that night,” Ednie said during the October 4 episode.
Hailie Jade thanked Ednie for “taking one for the team.”
