Reign Disick is addressing rumors about Justin Bieber being his dad.
The 10-year-old son of Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Scott Disick joined his stepsister Alabama Barker’s boyfriend Scooter Jackson’s Instagram Live and addressed a comment from a viewer who insinuated that Reign’s father is actually Bieber, 31.
In the Live, Reign can be heard saying, “No, he’s not. Bro, I swear, Justin Bieber is not my dad. Scotty…Scotty…Scotty is my dad.”
“I don’t know how old my mom was, but I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I got born. I don’t think my mom would do that,” he continued.
Kardashian Barker shares three of her kids — sons Reign and Mason, 15, as well as daughter Penelope, 12 — with Disick. She welcomed Reign in 2014, which would have made Bieber around 20 at the time.
Back in 2016, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Bieber, then 22, was hooking up with Kardashian, then 36. The pair were seen together in late March of that year following the Los Angeles leg of the pop star’s Purpose World Tour.
“They have hooked up a few times, including recently. It happens in L.A.,” the source shared at the time. “He has met her kids, but they don’t hook up around the kids. It’s on nights when she has help and is able to go out.”
“Kourtney is great. Justin thinks it’s cool that she is older and hot. She isn’t clingy and has her own life,” the source continued. “There are no bad consequences for Justin to hook up with her. She is very easy going and just makes it fun for him to be around her.”
Although Kardashian Barker is good friends with the “Baby” singer, she’s previously said how much Reign reminds her of Disick. During an episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme co-founder visited Australia with her husband Travis Barker, 48, for his band Blink-182’s tour, bringing their kids along with them.
In one scene, Kardashian Barker was hanging out with her son Reign, who started being goofy while making faces and different voices.
“I don’t know where he gets a sense of humor. He’s like a Jim Carrey,” the mom of four said in a confessional.
Back in the scene, Reign started to tell a story. “Okay, so once upon a time,” he began, pausing for a long time. “That was the story.”
“It’s not that funny though,” his sister Penelope told him.
“I’m starting to get a lot of vibes, like his dad,” Kardashian Barker joked in her confessional. “I think he’s starting to get that sense of humor. I’m like, just what we need.”
Back in Janaury 2024, Disick shared snaps with his younger son, whom he sometimes calls Ray and Rayman. Sharing photos of their time together on Instagram, Disick showed his son at dinner, sitting at the table with an oversized fuzzy hat on.
Reign looked right at the camera, a phone in his hands, as the photo was taken. In the caption, Disick wrote, “I will call him rayman the king of the wild.”
In another photo shared on his Instagram Story, Disick watched as Reign closely examined his chopsticks, writing, “Funny little guy.”
