Congratulations are in order for Eminem!
After his daughter Hailie Jade Scott and her husband Evan McClintock announced the birth of their first baby, son Elliot Marshall McClintock, on April 4, the “Lose Yourself” performer’s longtime friend Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson sent a sweet message of support.
“Congratulations,” wrote 50 Cent in a post shared to X on April 5 alongside a screenshot of Scott’s Instagram announcement. “This is the best WOW.”
Scott’s original post featured a photo of Elliot wearing a light blue hooded sweater as he posed in front of a sign that read, “Elliot Marshall McClintock 03.14.25.”
The baby boy’s middle name comes from Eminem’s real name, Marshall Mathers.
The Grammy-winning rapper previously displayed his excitement toward becoming a grandpa in a touching music video for his song “Temporary,” released in October 2024.
Dozens of old home videos of his daughter were featured in the video, which ended with a clip of Scott revealing the pregnancy to her father.
She gave him a sonogram image alongside a blue football jersey printed with the word “Grandpa” and the number 1, causing his jaw to drop and eyes to widen as they filled with tears at the news.
In the last episode of Scott’s Just a Little Shady podcast before giving birth to Elliot, she opened up about feeling excited welcome her baby boy with her husband and joked their son is her “dream podcast guest.”
“It’s so weird to think about… I can’t even wrap my head around it,” Scott said. “I have to meet this human that I’ve created. What’s he gonna look like? What’s he gonna … what’s his personality gonna be [like]? It’s strange but super exciting.”

Last year, Eminem spoke about the possibility of making a full album with 50 Cent more than 20 years after they first collaborated on the song “Patiently Waiting.”
“That would be great,” he said in an interview on Whoo’s House on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 in December 2024. “We just gotta stop bulls—ting and just do it.”
At the time, Eminem added: “I would never say it’s not possible.”
