Get woke, go broke — and end up as a joke!
That’s the lesson from Disney’s disastrous attempt to wokify the kids’ classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
The House of Mouse, thanks to major pushback around its serial screwups, pivots and re-reversals with the movie, has reportedly fallen back on basically a soft launch for its premiere.

No glitz, no glam, no bells, no whistles — only a quiet pre-show party and a red carpet with stars Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler, from which the usual gaggle of journos will be conspicuously absent.
Why?
Because the movie’s been a laughingstock ever since it leaked out that Disney was getting rid of the dwarves in order to pacify deranged progressives like outraged millionaire “Game of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage, who has dwarfism.
Star Zegler leaned into the woke BS, saying, “People are making these jokes about ours being the PC Snow White, where it’s like, yeah, it is, because it needed that.”
Now, Disney has seemingly replaced the live-actor non-dwarfs with CGI dwarfs in a desperate attempt to thread this insane needle.
Zegler, however, wasn’t through.

After Donald Trump won his remarkable 2024 victory, she posted on Instagram: “May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace.”
But she, like most wokies, proved to be as tough as a wet noodle and issued a groveling apology almost immediately.
And don’t forget the Israel-Hamas war angle.
Zegler’s a pro-Hamas weirdo, like many actors, or at least roleplays as one; Gadot, famously, is an outspoken backer of Israel.
And now the whole silly, sordid, stupid saga comes to a close — not with a bang but a whimper.
Imagine if Disney had simply … left the whole mess alone.
Or if the company had actually come up with a new idea, instead of yet another remake — then further stultified it by imposing the procrustean bed of contemporary left politics.
Remember, the original “Snow White” was a creative and commercial breakthrough, the first full-length animated film from a Hollywood studio.
It laid the foundations for everything that followed, from “Bambi” to “The Iron Giant” to “Toy Story.”
Disney should create, not propagandize.
Do that, and kids and families will come flocking.
