Greg Gutfeld is an American TV personality, comedian, and political commentator. He is most famous for hosting Gutfeld!, a late-night talk show on Fox News, where he covers current events, politics, and pop culture with humor and sarcasm.

Gutfeld is also a co-host on The Five, another popular Fox News show. It was on The Five where his latest joke didn’t quite hit the mark.

On Wednesday, Greg Gutfeld made a strange comment about actor John Krasinski after learning he was named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2024.

During a segment on The Five, Gutfeld unexpectedly referred to Krasinski as “trans,” even though Krasinski is not transgender. Gutfeld said, “Krasinski never talks about it, but he’s, you know, he’s trans,” which left his co-host, Jesse Watters, visibly confused.

I think it’s great that People has dominated—or announced—that a trans, uh, male can be the sexiest one alive

Krasinski never talks about it, but he’s, you know, he’s trans. You know that?

No, I didn’t know that

Yes. He’s trans. He’s trans

Gutfeld didn’t clarify why he referred to John Krasinski as “trans.” He then shifted to joke about the “Sexiest Man Alive” title, saying the “alive” part seemed unnecessary.

He added, “No one is thinking about dead dudes, unless you’re a pervert like Larry Kudlow,” before quickly changing the topic.
