Netflix viewers are just learning about a psychological thriller series and reckon it’s got the ‘coldest endings’ they’ve ever seen.

Making a good TV series can often prove to be pretty hard – and making a great series with an equally brilliant ending can be even harder.

After all, what’s the point of the jump if you struggle to stick the landing?

However, Netflix viewers have begun raving about this British psychological thriller that came out in 2021.

If you fancy being unnerved and intrigued for more, then this series might be just for you.

The six-part series,The Behind Her Eyes, is based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Pinborough and was published in 2017.

The basic premise of the show is single mum, Louise, works in psychiatrist’s office and begins an affair with her boss, who is married.

She then forms an unlikely friendship with his wife and things start to take a turn as their lives ultimately become tangled and overlap.

Now the members of the Facebook group Netflix Bangers has heaped on the praise for the show – most notably an ending they simply did not see coming.

Encouraging other users to watch the show, one person commented: “OMG one of the coldest endings I’ve ever seen.”

Another added: “BEHIND HER EYES. Doesn’t bode well for the child,”

“The first series really got to me and was in my head for some time.

“The most difficult part is, having watched it and then you try to explain it to someone else.”

“Behind her eyes.. One of the best plot twist ever,” a third commented.

“Watch all the episodes. It is good. Specially the end. I felt same when I was on 3/4 episodes but as I saw many good reviews here, I finished it.

“For many days I was thinking about this series only,” added fourth.

“That was a good ending.” someone else commented.

Hailing the ending as ‘perfect’, a sixth said: “Was really a shock how it supposed to be.”

The mini-series has fared well on IMDB and has a rating of 7.2/10 after 74,000 reviews.

However, on Rotten Tomatoes, it didn’t hold up as well and only has a score of 63 percent on the Tomatometer – which is still decent, to be fair.

And the average audience score is a little lower at 58 percent.
