Clashing personalities, gripping severance and slow burn romances qualified enough to send us into a tizzy. Bridgerton’s scandals just keep getting better and fans are always in for a ride. With season 3 scheduled to premiere next month, it’s time for us to move beyond the sexual tension between Anthony and Kate Sharma that kept us company for the past couple years.
We’re sure you’ve done this mental math of designating yourself a character, basis their quirks, likes and maybe their hotness quotient. Swap maybe with definitely. After great deliberation, we have consulted the stars and have compiled this list of all of our favourite Bridgerton characters along with their corresponding star signs.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Lady Danbury is dynamic and quick-witted and perfectly embodies all the Aries traits. The character has a commanding presence that lights up a room as she walks in, demanding everyone’s attention.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Kate Sharma is perceptive, but she’s also kind. Like a classic Taurus, she is poised, calm, and boasts of unparalleled reliability. She’s a giver, without expecting anything in return and an excellent listener. As a Taurean, we proudly claim her.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
While not all Geminis indulge in gossip, you must possess the qualities of this astute air sign if you want to be one. Lady Whistledown is gifted at fitting in and interacting with people from all walks of life, which enables people to get to know them and feel comfortable even though their true identity is a mystery.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Violet, the mother of the Bridgerton family is a true Cancerian. She genuinely wants what is best for her family, is a natural nurturer and is one of the most sensitive people in the show.
Leo (July 23-August 22)
We all saw this coming. Leos are perfectly represented to the T by Queen Charlotte. She values loyalty above everything else, but flattery may be the path to her heart (at times, especially in the later years).
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Colin is the ideal Virgo candidate since he is highly independent and sensible. He’s cool-headed, compassionate, and less self-centred despite some of his siblings and his town’s propensity to indulge and give in to temptations.
Libra (September 23-October 22)
In season one, Daphne Bridgerton charmed Queen Charlotte over with her easygoing demeanour and diplomatic skills. Turns out, she’s the archetypal Libran, drenched in tasteful aesthetics and a warm energy surrounding her.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
Simone Hastings is a Scorpio through and through—bold, enigmatic and sensual. His arrogance nearly brings him down, but he finds his equal in Daphne Bridgerton. He is compelled to become a more compassionate person in the process.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)
Albeit a little grim and depressed due to her circumstances, Marina Thompson embodies many Sagi traits as she’s a true survivor. Her intelligence and faithfulness give insight into her one-of-a-kind and gifted personality.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
Anthony has assumed leadership of the Bridgerton family with a very practical attitude, believing that no one else will look out for the family if he does not. He approaches choosing a marriage in the same way, using a checklist rather than his intuition to discover the greatest fit.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18)
Eloise Bridgerton, like a true Aquarian, follows her own rhythm and refuses to conform to social norms in order to fit in. Despite the fact that it is not what her family wants for her, she is driven to greatness by her quick mind.
Pisces (February 19-March 20)
Benedict may be a Pisces because of his artistic abilities and general traits (such as an open mind and sentimental side) which fit the dreamy and imaginative preconceptions of the sign aptly.
