A$AP Rocky is loving being a girl dad.
On Monday, Nov. 3, while attending the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, the rapper and dad of three, 37, opened up to PEOPLE about being a “girl dad,” sharing what it means to him. Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, welcomed his baby daughter, Rocki Irish, with partner Rihanna in September.
Asked what his definition is of being a girl dad, the rapper sweetly says, “A$AP Rocky in 2026, you know. Check me out.”
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the event, the rapper and fashion icon also shared why his daughter Rocki is his “baby twin.”
“Rocki is cuter than ever. You know, she’s my baby twin, so it’s amazing,” he told the outlet. “I’m happy to be a girl dad at this point.”
When asked how his sons — Riot, 2, and RZA, 3½ — were handling the new addition to the family, the rapper shared that his young sons may “get a little jealous” sometimes.
“I think they might get a little jealous from time to time, but they ain’t got to be,” he said. “It’s a lot of love to go around, but it’s going to probably take some getting used to. Shout out to my boys and my baby girl, man. Daddy love y’all.”

With both Rocky and Rihanna being recipients of the Fashion Icon Award, it’s no secret that the parents of three are fashion trendsetters. When it comes to dressing their kids, the Highest 2 Lowest star gave all the credit to his partner Rihanna.
“That’s all her. She does that,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “You know, I can’t take credit for none of that.”
In September, while speaking with GQ, he shared that he and the Grammy-winning artist intend to keep all of their iconic fashion pieces for their children.
“All of them. No bulls—. At this point, it’s not even about being a hoarder or anything. It’s like being a collector,” he told the outlet. “There’s things that you got to have in the archive, things that you wear in the present day, things that you’re saving for later.”
“So, the kids’ pieces are essentially those archival, save-for-later pieces,” he added. “And when I’m too old to do anything with them, I’m definitely giving to the young lads.”
