The pregnant Fox News Outnumbered co-host shared her happy news during Thursday’s show, revealing that her husband Sean Gilmartin is ‘really excited’
McEnany is four-months pregnant with her second baby, who will be younger sibling to two-year-old daughter Blake, who was born in November 2019
The former White House press secretary – who was the last person to take on the role before the end of Trump’s presidency – said she will reveal the gender soon
She joked that it has been hard for her to keep the gender under wraps, but that she and her MLB player spouse, 32, will share it on Outnumbered
The news comes amid the ongoing January 6 committee hearings which are investigating the 2021 insurrection at the Capitol
Donald Trump‘s former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has revealed that she is pregnant with her second child, sharing the happy news in a live Fox News broadcast on Thursday afternoon.
The 34-year-old, who has a two-year-old daughter, Blake, with her husband Sean Gilmartin, 32, opened up about her expanding family during Outnumbered – which she co-hosts – telling her fellow on-air correspondents that she couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome a new addition to her brood.
‘So my husband Sean Gilmartin and I are about four-months pregnant,’ McEnany shared, adding: ‘What a blessing, we’ve prayed a lot about this, and God just blessed us with a child, a second child to join baby Blake, my daughter.’
The TV host – who was the last person to serve in the role of White House press secretary before Trump’s presidency came to an end in January 2021 – admitted that she has struggled to keep the news under wraps, joking that she almost blurted out she was pregnant to her co-hosts before sharing the news officially.

‘What a blessing, we’ve prayed a lot about this, and God just blessed us with a child, a second child to join baby Blake, my daughter,’ McEnany said
‘One day we were on the couch and someone said, “The five of us,” and I said [to myself], “No the six of us, there’s another one right in here!” I knew the whole time.’
She added that she will reveal the gender of her unborn child on Outnumbered in the coming weeks, and is even considering bringing her husband – who is an MLB player – onto the show in order to make the announcement with her.
‘We will reveal the gender in the coming weeks, we’ll do a little gender reveal here on Outnumbered,’ she said, before noting that she has found it incredibly ‘difficult’ not to let slip the sex of her baby.
‘I can’t reveal the gender. It’s so difficult because I do know,’ she confessed.
‘I’m not one of those people that can wait. I have a friend who is waiting, but I know right now and we are going to reveal here.
‘Stay tuned to Outnumbered. There will be a surprise, we’re going to do a gender reveal at the end of one show.’
As of her husband’s reaction to the happy news, McEnany said Gilmartin is ‘really excited’, before noting the happy coincidence that her announcement comes ‘right on the cusp of Father’s Day’, which takes place on Sunday.
The expectant mom then went on to gush about the ‘support’ she has received from her colleagues at Fox, saying: ‘Thank you all for your support, and for Fox. [There is] no more supportive a workplace to be a working mom than Fox News Channel.’
McEnany’s second pregnancy comes less than three years after she and Gilmartin welcomed their first child, daughter Blake, who was born in November 2019 – almost one year to the day before the 2020 election.

The former White House press secretary said that her husband, 32, is ‘really excited’ to become a father for the second time
At the time, she shared the news of her new arrival on social media, posting a sweet image of herself and Gilmartin proudly posing with their daughter, while writing: ‘Sean and I are so blessed to welcome our first baby – Blake Avery Gilmartin – into the world!
‘What a blessing from God she is to our family!’
Gilmartin and McEnany tied the knot in November 2017, while she was working as the national spokesperson for the Republican National Committee.
Having started her career as a producer at Fox News, McEnany went on to become a commentator at CNN, before moving to the RNC, and then taking a job as national press secretary for Trump’s re-election campaign in 2019. She was appointed as White House press secretary in April 2020.
McEnany’s happy news marks a bright spot in what has been a dark time for the former Trump administration amid the ongoing January 6 committee hearings.
Earlier this week, images capturing a seemingly-shell-shocked McEnany absorbing the 2020 election results were released, showing the former press secretary standing alongside other members of the former President’s inner circle as the election returns came in.
The pictures appear to show the grim results sinking in for Trump’s team of advisors, at least according to journalist Jonathan Karl, who published them in his book Betrayal.
They provide a visual account to supplement testimony the House January 6 committee presented Monday – including statements by key Trump advisors who said they told the then-President that his claims of election fraud were bogus.
McEnany was also featured in texts that Rep. Liz Cheney read aloud at the committee hearing on June 13 between her and Fox News host Sean Hannity.
‘Key now. No more crazy people,’ Hannity wrote her. ‘Yes. 100 per cent,’ she responded.
‘No more stolen election talk,’ the Fox News host responded.

McEnany served as Trump’s White House press secretary from April 2020 until January 2021\
McEnany made her last appearance as White House press secretary on January 7, the day after Trump supporters launched an attack on the Capitol that left five dead and interrupted the certification of Biden’s victory.
She condemned the actions, saying she spoke for the entire administration in her denouncement of the violence.
‘Let me be clear, the violence we saw yesterday at our nation’s capital was appalling reprehensible and antithetical to the American way,’ she said.
McEnany spoke for less than two minutes, reading a statement from her notebook, before fleeing the room without answering any questions.
‘What we saw yesterday was a group of violent rioters undermining the legitimate first amendment rights of the many thousands who came to peacefully have their voices heard, in our nation’s capital,’ McEnany said.
McEnany departed the White House on January 15 to return to Florida, where her husband was living.
She was succeeded in her role as White House press secretary by Jen Psaki, the first person to take on the position under President Joe Biden.
However, while she revealed that she had left a note behind at the White House for her successor, any positive relations between them appear to have quickly cooled – with McEnany taking furious aim at Psaki in April over her criticism of the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bills.
During an appearance on Fox News, McEnany blasted Psaki for crying about Florida’s so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ legislation on a CNN podcast, saying that she should be ‘crying about’ aborted children instead.
‘Namely, if you wanna cry about one issue in this country right now, I think the press secretary should cry about the 62 million children that do not exist, that have been aborted because of Roe v. Wade, a heinous, heinous decision in this country that has exterminated about one-fifth of the United States’ population,’ the ex-Trump staffer told Sean Hannity.
‘If you wanna cry, don’t cry about forcing sexuality on kindergartners. This is sick,’ McEnany continued. ‘Cry about the 62 million children who can’t go to kindergarten.’
