It’s Official — The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Is Coming… And Mickey’s Biggest Case Yet Starts NOW! ⚖️🔥
Netflix just confirmed Season 4, and the stakes have never been higher. Mickey Haller is back — but with new enemies, a buried secret from the past, and a legal twist that could change everything.
👇 Watch the teaser and see why this isn’t just another case — it’s war in the courtroom.
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo has teased Mickey’s story in The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 and why the upcoming season of the legal drama is his favorite one so far. The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 ended with Mickey being framed for the murder of Sam Scales, laying the groundwork for season 4, which will adapt Michael Connelly’s novel The Law of Innocence.
Speaking with Variety, Garcia-Rulfo explained how emotional The Lincoln Lawyer season 4’s story will be, describing the “heaviness” of the story as its biggest strength. The actor explained how, even before shooting began, just reading the scripts made season 4 his favorite in the series so far. Check out what Garcia-Rulfo had to say about the upcoming episodes below:
It’s the most emotional season — heavy emotion — because of how we found him, and a lot of things happen, which I cannot say, but they’re very emotional for me. I told the showrunners even reading them before we start shooting, it is the one that I’ve enjoyed the most. I’ve all enjoyed all of them, but this one is the one that I’ve enjoyed the most because it has the most heaviness.
What Garcia-Rulfo’s Statement Means For The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4
The Case Won’t Be Easy For The Team To Wrestle With

Based on Garcia-Rulfo’s statement, it sounds like The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will be delivering Mickey one of his most emotionally hard-hitting cases to date. Since he’s being considered the culprit in this scenario, it’ll be up to his team members, like Lorna and Cisco, to clear his name. Given the severity of the accusation, though, this won’t be easy.
Season 4 will also feature the return of Neve Campbell as Maggie, Mickey’s first wife, who will likely play a significant role in his defense. With so many people trying to get him out, it seems like the team will be tackling a race against time to exonerate their boss and friend, where twists in the story will abound.
As other characters in The Lincoln Lawyer try to prove his innocence, he’ll have to work with them as best he can behind bars.
Since Garcia-Rulfo has already deemed season 4 his favorite, it sounds like Mickey’s story will be going places it never has before. As other characters in The Lincoln Lawyer try to prove his innocence, he’ll have to work with them as best he can behind bars, likely making for some interesting team dynamics as they try to save his life.
Our Take On Garcia-Rulfo’s Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Tease
A Strong Case For The Law Of Innocence Adaptation

Given the praise Garcia-Rulfo has for the upcoming episodes, it sounds like the show will be offering an engaging adaptation of The Law of Innocence. The emotional moments will no doubt stem from inevitable roadblocks in the team’s way as they do everything they can to exonerate the protagonist. However, it clearly won’t be easy if he’s going to trial.
The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 is currently in production.
