River Nene search for missing Declan Berry in sixth day
The search to find a missing 18-year-old after the car they were travelling in entered the River Nene, near Wisbech, has entered its sixth day.
Declan Berry still remains “unaccounted for” after the blue VW Polo he is believed to have been driving entered the River Nene on North Brink, near Wisbech, on March 17.
There were five teenagers in the car at the time, with three taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.
Tragically, the body of a 16-year-old Eden Bunn was recovered from the vehicle on Wednesday (March 18).
Officers, with the support of specialist divers, recovered the car yesterday (Sunday March 22) but no other individuals were found inside.
This is a developing story and will be updated with the latest information as soon as it becomes available.

Emergency services continue to search for Declan Berry, five days after the car he is believed to have been driving entered the River Nene.
Earlier, CamSAR confirmed a specially trained has supported police every day since Thursday (March 19).

Police still appealing for witnesses
Cambridgeshire Police continue to appeal for witnesses of the fatal crash on North Brink.
The force is looking to speak with anyone who may have seen the crash, or the blue VW Polo in the Wisbech area between 7pm and 8.20pm on Tuesday, March 17, should contact the police.
Anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident is also urged to make contact quoting 515 of 17 March.

Police ‘actively searching for Declan’
DI Craig Wheeler from the road policing unit said officers are “still actively searching” for Declan along the River Nene.
He added: “We continue to support his family, who were present today when the vehicle was recovered.
“My thoughts remain with the families and friends of Eden Bunn and Declan Berry during this awful time.”

Police confirmed the VW Polo which entered the River Nene was recovered by officers and specialist divers on Sunday (March 22).
