Nicole Kidman Reveals She’s ‘Hanging in There’ After Report Keith Urban Was Accused of Cheating on Her With Multiple Women & ‘Treating Her Like Dirt’
Nicole Kidman isn’t holding back her feelings any longer. The Babygirl actress just gave a rare update of where she is amid her impending divorce from Keith Urban.
In an Interview feature with Ariana Grande, the actress responds to the Wicked star’s question of how she is. “I’m hanging in there,” Kidman responds. The piece was published on Nov. 24, but the conversation took place on Oct. 19, which was two weeks after the couple announced that they were divorcing. Kidman also gave Grande some sage advice about being in show business. “Well, you’re very young, and then suddenly you’re put into this fishbowl and everything is dissected,” the Oscar winner recalled of her early days in Hollywood. “It starts to get very, very difficult, and then you overthink it and then you get scared and then you get hurt, and then you go, ‘Now I don’t want to go out. I don’t want to venture into this world.’ I get it.”
She added, “It’s just a constant push-pull. But I think that exists for everyone.”
The reports come after sources revealed that Keith Urban wasn’t so nice at the end of their marriage. “There’s no sugarcoating the fact that Keith’s behaved like a total jerk. He’s treated Nicole like dirt at a time when she was most vulnerable,” an insider told RadarOnline.
Another source divulged that the marriage dissolved due to the “lack of intimacy between them because they spent so much time apart, leaving him time to seek comfort in the company of other women. It wasn’t just Maggie [Baugh]. Keith was also fawning over other women, and he didn’t seem to care that people knew about it.”
A guitarist in Urban’s band, Maggie Baugh, posted a video of Urban changing the lyrics to the song “The Fighter” to fit her instead of Kidman, who he wrote the song for. However, the idenity of the woman has not been revealed “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a “Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
The source continued, “The news about Maggie sent [Kidman] over the edge and she’s now braced for more revelations about Keith’s sleazy behavior, even as she was trying to save the marriage.”
